LLOCS (PLACES in Catalan) is a geolocation and travel app that allows you to access Apple's map services on your iPhone in an integrated way to your own database of places saved locally on the device. Data, in addition to the coordinates and the address, may include other information such as multiple links to websites related to the landmark, telephone numbers and comments. Llocs can therefore become a valuable tool when preparing a trip, obtaining information while on the road and also as a tool to share easily with others information about places visited. In addition, the app includes a digital compass which, using the camera, allows you to point you towards the direction to follow to reach a given spot.
PRIVACY POLICY: LLOCS does not keep any data outside your iPhone. However there’s a backup option in Settings that allows the user to export a compressed copy of the database to iCloud. This file might be imported later from a different iPhone with access to the same iCloud account so that two or more users will have the option to share the same database of places.
